Body found floating in stream near Bloemspruit


The body of a man in his mid-thirties was found thrown into the Renoster stream near Bloemspruit.
Yesterday, at around 13:00, the Bloemspruit police received information about the body of an unknown male that had been spotted in the water.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police found the man’s body floating in the water. The police’s diving unit was summoned to the scene to retrieve the body from the water.
Further investigation revealed that the body, which was found wrapped in bubble wrap, had its hands and feet tied with industrial rope. There was also a rope around the neck.
The man, whose body was badly decomposed, was wearing grey and black track pants with no top.
