A woman was hit by a car last night in Bloemfontein.
According to Santi Steinmann, the spokesperson of Netcare 911, she says paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Dr Belcher Road.
“Upon their arrival on scene they found a woman, believed to be in her fifties, in a critical condition after she was knocked over by a minibus,” she says.
Steinmann says the critically injured woman was treated while being rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care she required.
“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation,” she says.
