Bloemfontein Courant has managed to rope in another Diamond Arrow Award at the Free State Province Business Excellence Awards Ceremony held in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.

The newspaper received the award for the best community newspaper in the Free State.

The awards are aimed at companies and institutions that are doing the most in their sectors over the past 12 months to stimulate the economic growth and development of the Free State Province.

“At Bloemfontein Courant, we fully believe in the saying ‘teamwork makes the dream work’, and winning this award attests to that. It takes hard work and commitment from everyone in the organisation – from top management to the editorial team, sales as well as the design studio,” says

Bloemfontein Courant’s editor, Sazly Moses. She adds that the award could not have come at a better time as the publication is about to celebrate the Best of Bloemfontein’s winners in October.

The purpose of the awards is to create a global and unique marketing tool for each recipient to enhance excellence and set a benchmark in their respective industries.

It also creates an opportunity for companies and institutions to recognise their teams or divisions for all their hard work.
