The Bloemfontein Children’s Choir (BCC) will host their Gala Concert on 4 October at the Doxa Deo Church in Fichardt Park from 18:00.
According to a statement by the BCC management, audience members can look forward to a jam-packed night with a versatile musical exhibition.
“Our eclectic concert programme of 2024 will enthral audiences with music from The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins, music from Messiah by Handel, opera music by Bizet and Rossini, folk music from Serbia, Philippines, Hungary, America, Sweden and Italy and music from Sister Act and the band Queen. The audience can also look forward to music of South Arican composers Charlotte Botha and Anton Esterhuyse,” the BCC management said.
Established 37 years ago, BCC has always aimed to be a beacon of quality children’s choral music and has been home to many children throughout the years.
“The Gala Concert programme commemorates a blessed 37 years and breathtaking moments in BCC’s life. This concert is a tribute to the city of Bloemfontein and boasts the magnificent young talent we have to offer. The heartbeat of the choir is our loving parents and supporters.”
