After 140 years, Bloem Show boasts around 100,000 visitors over the 10 days and the Show has become the central showcase of championships in the stud industry, with around 6,000 animals and 20 agricultural championships. This includes the largest open-air Saddle Horse Show in the world and the largest goat Show in Africa.
More than 350 exhibitors, an exciting amusement park with 28 rides, 50 food stalls, the largest Creative Crafts and art section in the country with more than 2000 entries and around 20 top entertainers, are part of the versatile programme every year.
Numerous new additions and changes form part of the 140th anniversary celebration of Bloem Show.
Visitors can look forward to a totally new layout and focus in the exhibition halls. New exhibitors, a special gaming arcade with exhibitions and interactive area, a Formula 1 Simulator, exciting spinning by Team Siya, the Agri tent with exhibitions and showcasing livestock, the Balance Healthy lifestyle hall, and a special Student Shuttle service to and from Bloem Show for our Bloemfontein student market, are some of the highlights to look forward to.
A variety of artists are performing at Bloem Show this year and if your entry has been paid, the concerts can be attended for free. Some of the celebrities who will be seen at Bloem Show include Francois Bouwer, Daniel Wesley, Lollos, Reën, Prop, Jan Rhaap, Ndlovu Youth Choir, Bok van Blerk, Appel, Jo Black, Samantha Leonard, Sunset Sweatshop and FamFest with Ntate Stunna, Thebe Lenyora, Shaxe Khumalo, LeGoody and many more.
