Black Coffee heading for Bloemfontein

Black Coffee

The South African DJ who rose to international stardom by collaborating with Swiss Beats, Alicia Keys and Drake, will soon be in Bloemfontein to rock fans with his music.
Nkosinathi Maphumulo, better known to his fans as Black Coffee, will be in the city to perform with other greats such as the renowned Bochabela String Orchestra, former Idols contestant, Amanda Black, and Prince Kaybee, with Somizi aka Somgaga featuring as the MC of the event.
The event, which is C-Squared’s brainchild under their Soulful Sounds SA banner, will partner with Radio 2000, the Free State Government, SABC 3 as well as other giant partners.
According to concert publicist, Mohale Molotsi, “fans can expect a high-end, one-of-a-kind, intimate event where fans will enjoy their food and beverages while seated in good company comfortably, watching these South African greats perform.”
Molotsi also explains the difference between the two ticket prices, stating that the R1500 tickets are front-row tickets, while the R1250 tickets will allow guests to be seated on the sides and in the gallery that will be set up.
He also adds that as event organisers, they are expecting only a limited number of people.
It promises to be a night filled with red carpet moments for friends and lovers alike, with soul inspiring performances from South Africa’s next generation of musical greats.
The concert will be held at Kovsie Kerk at the University of the Free State’s Bloemfontein campus on 12 May 2017. It is scheduled to start at 18:00 and attendees are requested to dress to impress as it will strictly be a Black Tie event. – Pulane Choane
