A group of young adults in Bloemfontein has decided to join hands and launch the Authentic Youth Show, which focuses on discussing real issues that affect young people. The show is hosted by 17-year-old Angela Linda and 19-year-old Zanele Mbalula and has already had five episodes on YouTube.
According to Mbalula, the platform also enables viewers to partake as the group wants to learn from them as well. He said in an interview with Bloemfontein Courant that the show educates and entertains simultaneously as they tend to discuss topics that may be uncomfortable for some.
“Viewers can expect the unexpected. We aim to not be predictable and we are always exploring new ideas,” Masoeu said.
The online show wants to discuss modern d32ay youth-related matters and was founded in 2020 by Mbalula and Linda who wanted to create a safe space for young people to express their views. “We want to be the voice of the youth in our society,” said the duo.
The youth show is run by a group of youngsters who wants to take hands with others to grow the platform with the hopes of having it broadcast on bigger platforms. Catch their interesting conversations on YouTube @authenticyouthshow.
