Bfn police on the look-out for robbery suspects


Parkweg police have launched extensive manhunt for suspects who allegedly robbed a Supermarket in Hill Street, Bloemfontein and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

It is alleged that four suspects entered the shop wearing balaclavas and within minutes after entering the shop, two of the suspects pulled out firearms and held one of the cashiers at gunpoint and demanded cash.

The suspects ransacked the cash office and also made off with airtime and cigarettes valued at five thousand rand.

One of the four suspects struck a male customer with a gun before taking off with the customer’s car.

They drove off with the white Ford Figo with registration number FGO O6TH GP. Later on the vehicle was recovered at Heidedal.

No shot was fired and no one sustain injuries during the robbery process.

A case of business robbery has been registered for further investigation.
