Six suspects arrested for the murder of an elderly couple in their home in Bethulie two weeks ago, will appear again in the town’s Magistrates Court today for a formal bail application. Gordon and Lorraine Adams were attacked an murdered in their house in the early hours of Saturday 9 February while they were asleep. Police spokesperson Maselela Langa said four minors, aged between 15 and 17, and two 18-year olds, Tshepo Ramatlama and Sphiwe Sakman, appeared on charges of murder, housebreaking and theft of a motor vehicle last week. He said five suspects were arrested while Sakman was pretending to help the police with their investigation. Police soon realised he was also involved with the murder and he was arrested last week.
