Bloemfontein’s “Baby Vettel”, Stuwie White is jetting off overseas again to burn some more rubber.
12-Year old White who become the Minirok and Rotax Max National Karting Champion last year is off to Belgium to take part in the IAME X30 European Championship at the Mariembourgh circuit close to the Belgian-French border.
The youngster is going over to gain valuable experience for X30 World Championships in Le Mans as well as the Minirok World Champs in Italy, which he will be competing in.
White told COURANT Sport for now his trip overseas is to learn the track and the kart, he will leave the sightseeing for another time.
The event at Mariembourgh runs from Thursday to Sunday, after which they flight directly to Cape Town on compete in the SA Nationals.
