Abbasorg is a project created by the ATKV and they are coming to Twin City Mall in Heidedal, Bloemfontein this weekend.
Abbasorg spokesperson, Herna Adams, told OFM News that they are asking the Bloemfontein community to come out in their numbers and to open their hearts to give the little children at Abbasorg learning centres a rainbow of opportunities.
She told OFM News that they don’t just look after these children but they try to at least give them two meals per day, and work with them through the content of early childhood development (ECD).
Adams says that Abbasorg focuses on empowering vulnerable children who come from backgrounds where they cannot be supported. She says they in the age group of three to five and they are then trained and helped to get them ready for school. She continued to say that there are five centres for children and one of them is right here in Bloemfontein.
She explained that they really need the help of the community, not only in terms of funds but also to help them make the dreams of these children come true.
“ATKV is doing their utmost best to support Abbasorg but they cannot do it alone, so we are asking South Africans to please open their hearts and purses and help the little children at Abbasorg,” said Adams.
Abbasorg and ATKV are inviting you to come and enjoy the festivities with them on Saturday. Adams said the children that attend the Bloemfontein centre will be there with many local celebrities.
