An event filled with surprises!

Curro Bloem's Matric Farewell started out with one surprise after another. The matrics knew the date of the event, but nothing else. The invitation arrived about three days before the event in the form of a box filled with surprises! Each item represented a resource for the future. There were also a few clues hidden inside the box about the special event.
On the evening of 9 October, the grade 12 class, with their parents, met at Emoya Wildlife Estate where they enjoyed cocktails and snacks. Photos were taken in and around the beautiful surrounds of the estate. Much to the delight of the guests it was announced that the main venue for the evening was Tuscan Rose, a beautiful setting for this spectacular evening.
Curro's Matric Farewell was a very elegant event which created a wonderful atmosphere filled with expectation! The learners were addressed by their phase head (Jannie Louw), head leaders (Ofentse Moroe and Kensani Mothomogolo) and the executive head (Willie Havenga). The highlight of the evening was when Chris van der Merwe, CEO of CURRO HOLDINGS, and his daughter, Mieke, an international model, arrived at the event. They both addressed the guests and their speeches were highly entertaining and motivational. Truly an unforgettable event!
