Agriprenuer Farmer’s Institute promotes carthorse welfare in Thaba Nchu

The Agriprenuer Farmer’s Institute calls on young people who want to learn more about horses in Thaba Nchu to join their Carthorse programme that will take place this Saturday (18/10) from 09:00 next to Sky Country.

According to the founder, Clement Litlhare the aim of the initiative is to promote horse welfare within communities, especially because carthorses operate as a mode of transport within Thaba Nchu.

“We urge our communities to support us on changing the stigma around horses and ensure that the wellbeing of horses is supported.”

In addition, carthorse owners have found a way of creating employment by delivering goods, so it is imperative that they receive the knowledge and assistance.
The initiative is in partnership with Blind Love Africa which is sponsored by Animal Aid Abroad in Australia since 2023.

Contact 063 481 5393 or visit Agripreneur Farmers Institute for more information about the programme that takes place this weekend.
