In a move widely welcomed by the community Absa will be moving its Heidedal branch to Twin City today.
In recent months community members were terrorised by ATM robbers at Absa’s old premises at Lee-Marco Centre.
“We are growing a new branch experience and therefore have opened a new Heidedal Branch at Twin City Mall,” said Eloise Calitz from Absa in a media statement.
“We look forward to welcoming you and servicing all your banking needs. The branch will provide customers with better banking facilities and easy access to banking services. For convenience, you can still do all your banking 24/7 via ATM, telephonic, cellphone or the Internet. Plus, banking this way saves you money.”
According to a statement the new branch has a fresh and professional look aimed at ensuring an enhanced customer experience, supported by multi-skilled staff, technological improvements, innovative products and streamlined processes.
“The ultimate aim of this branch is to make the lives of our customers in Heidedal and surroundings much easier, as it is designed around speed and efficiency, which in turn creates capacity for our employees to engage in insightful conversations with our customers and addresses the need for a seamless, efficient and digitally enabled customer experience.
“We look forward to the results of our investment and the growth of our business in Heidedal and we thank our customers for support in helping us to achieve this goal – our customers are at the heart of our business and an important stakeholder to our success,” said Calitz.
