GALOOME SHOPANE Clarens police are still searching for suspects in the murder of 69-year-old Daniel Wybenga.
Wybenga, who stayed alone, was found dead on his bathroom floor with his hand and feet tied up with ropes yesterday.
Police spokesperson Majang Skalkie says they suspect that he was also strangled.
Skalkie says “It is alleged that one of the family members tried to contact him yesterday, and when they couldn’t get hold of him they contacted the security company.
"When the security guard and the police got the, house was locked and they found Wybenga on the bathroom floor.”
His gold Toyota Corolla, cellphone and music system were stolen. Police are investigating a case of house robbery, murder and theft of motor vehicle.
