Vaal Central Water advises residents of the Mangaung Metro of a water supply interruption due to planned winter maintenance at Welbedacht Water Treatment Works from 27 until 29 August.
According to the bulk water supplier, during this period, a plant shutdown will be carried out and water supply interruptions will be experienced by Bloemfontein, Dewetsdorp, and Wepener residents.
The shutdown is planned for 36 hours from 00:00 to 12:00.
“Water tankers will be kept on standby to assist with supply to affected areas. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciation is extended for the patience and understanding of the affected customers.”
