Birthday celebrations Saint Andrew's celebrated its 153rd birthday on Wednesday, 16 November. Every boy, from Grade RRR to Grade 12, was provided with a packet of chips and a free cool drink from Twizza. This year the school has been on the same premises for 100 years. During the Anglo-Boer War it was turned into a hospital. When it re-opened in 1916, it was where it stands today. Boys from Little Saints, Saint Andrew's School's pre-primary, enjoy a cold drink and chips to celebrate Saint Andrew's birthday and 100 years on the same premises in Westdene.
