New Cluster Commander introduced to the Thaba Nchu community

A new Cluster Commander Brigadier Kgothatso Ramokotjo was introduced today to the community through a local radio interview conducted by Mosupatsela FM.

Brigadier Kgothatso Ramokotjo paid a visit to the station in a quest to get well acquainted with the members of the community. The Brigadier joined the SAPS in 1993 and received his training at Bishop Lavis in Cape Town. He then served as Constable in Odendaalsrus from 1994 to 1996 before serving as a

He then served as Constable in Odendaalsrus from 1994 to 1996 before serving as a Sergeant from 1996 to 2000, still in Odendaalsrus. Soon after that, he then served as a Captain in Maokeng and Koppies from 2002 to 2005. It was not long before he was appointed as a Lieutenant Colonel in Tumahole from 2005 up until the year 2007.

Brigadier Kgothatso Ramokotjo still pursued his career as a Lieutenant Colonel in Botshabelo from 2007 until 2009 before being appointed as Colonel in Kopanong, Mangaung and Bloemspruit from 2010 to 2013. He was appointed as a station commander at a level of a Brigadier at Parkweg Station before being called to serve at the same level in Selosesha Cluster as a Cluster Commander.

The Brigadier was not alone as he was accompanied by Station Commanders from all stations that fall under his Cluster. The Cluster consists of seven stations which include Botshabelo, Boithuso, Excelsior, Tweespruit, Selosesha, Thaba-Nchu and Hobhouse.

The Brigadier has also urged the community to work hand-in-hand with the Police and to also inform him, whenever they cannot receive help from all the stations that fall under his cluster. He also pleaded with the members of the public to first go to their nearest Police Station for help before they can contact him.
