Mimosa Mall condemns the prevalent acts of abuse of social media platforms.

This comes at a time when social media has been abuzz causing undue panic with the resurfacing of fabricated messages, warning females about men who allegedly prey on women as well as general public. Messages on Facebook and WhatsApp have gone viral.

The information circulating has been investigated and both the security and the police confirm that no incidents have been reported

We have tight security measures in place and continue to stay alerted and committed to the security and well-being of the customers.

The public is reminded to exercise caution when reading through news on social media, to avoid misinformation.

The police confirmed that they are working hard to trace where these messages originally come from.

Any suspicious behavior must be reported to the SAPS and Mimosa Mall Management.
