LISTEN: UFS closure a ‘show of bad faith’ – students

A group of students at the University of the Free State say the decision to close their Bloemfontein and South Campuses until October 28 for undergraduate and honours students is a show of bad faith.

The #FreeEducationMovement says they are having none of it. They say it is also inconsiderate toward those already in financial need.

Administrative and academic staff at the UFS will be working, as well as master’s and doctoral students but students in residences will have to vacate their rooms by noon this Saturday.
