Kimberly missing child suspects remains in custody

The case against four suspects allegedly involved in the disappearance of the five year old girl from Kimberley, Keitumetse Magwadibane, was postponed earlier today in the Galeshewe Magistrate Court to the 18 of October this year.

The four suspects were previously denied bail. The toddler has been missing for over a month. She was allegedly snatched by an unknown man while she and a friend walked to the local tuck shop.

Police spokesperson, Majang Skalkie, says the police in Kagisho are still searching for the missing child and a reward of R10 000 has being made available for whoever comes up with information that will lead to the finding of the child.

“Norah Mazibuko (55) , Joseph Mbongo (38), Maruping Kgwabane (38) and Clarens Mkhunto  (23) appeared today before the Galeshewe Magistrate Court in connection with the missing child, who was last seen in July 2016. All four suspects will remain in custody” said Skalkie.

The police still appeal to the community to come forward if they have any information that may lead to finding the missing toddler. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sergeant Nicole Botha of Kagisho Detectives on 082 469 2028 or contact the 10111 centre.
