The following position has come up within our Central Media Group Retail Sales Division
JOB TITLE: Sales Consultant: Retail Sales
EDUCATION: Minimum grade 12
EXPERIENCE: Have at least 1 - 2 years sales experience.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To sell a high volume of low value products across all our media platforms. The employee will be held responsible for the creation and efficient running of his/her client base and the achievement of sales targets.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Be in possession of a code B driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
- Computer knowledge, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications
- Database building
- Excellent sales abilities
- A high level of emotional intelligence and customer care skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Project a positive and professional image at all times
MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
- Sales will be pitched and closed both personally and telephonically
- Grow sales of the database and meet all targets and objectives across all media platforms
- Quick turnaround time is essential to the growth of the business
- Execute project plans as laid out by management
- Keep to deadlines set for specific projects
- Be responsible for getting people/clients into the presentation room for certain projects
