Body of a newborn found in Navalsig

Navalsig police are searching for the mother of an unknown newborn whose body was discovered by a homeless man earlier today.

At about 10:45 this morning, a homeless man was allegedly searching for food in Hilton, when he spotted a fast food paper bag inside a yellow plastic bag placed under a tree. He went on to open the paper bag hoping to find some food, only to discover the tiny body of a newborn baby lying face-down in a pool of blood.

The man alerted the police who were patrolling in the area. Members of Navalsig police station drove to the open area in Signal Street, Hilton, where they found the body of a newborn baby boy and opened a case of concealment of birth.
