Bloemfontein detectives bust most wanted house breaking suspect


Parkweg detectives joined hands with Bainsvlei detectives in the successful arrest of a wanted suspect.

He was traced in the Bloemfontein Central Business District (CBD) and is involved in a series of house breaking incidents in the Bainsvlei area.

Detective Warrant Officers Gert Parkin, Jean du Plessis, Pieter Louw and Detective Constable Teboho Samusho worked together in this successful arrest.

The 32-year-old male was arrested on Thursday afternoon while selling stolen items from a house breaking incident in the CBD.

The items had been stolen the previous night at Bains Game Lodge.

Police approached the suspect who had been in possession of a large bag and arrested him and inside the bag investigators found stolen items such as cellphones, electrical items and clothing.

It was discovered that the 32-year-old suspect was positively linked to three more cases from Bainsvlei such as malicious damage to property, house breaking and theft and theft out of motor vehicle.  Still has a pending case of theft, also from Bainsvlei SAPS

The suspect is still to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court for house breaking and theft and for other outstanding cases.
