The men who are suspected of murdering the three men that were found dead in Heidedal two weeks ago appeared in the Bloemfontein magistrate court yesterday.
The ten suspects, who are between the ages of 19 and 29, appeared in court on charges of murder.
Their names have been released by South African Police Services (SAPS) and are as follows: Pugisho Paul Nathane, Zwehlungile Ntlathi, Ditaba Petrus Mafahle, Lebohang George Teele , Mosa Ernest Makara, James Teboho Mokoae, Mojalefa Karel Shangane, Kabelo Simon Senoge, Bongani Gift Pitso and Zamile Tyuntyuthwa appeared at Bloemfontein magistrate court on Monday on a charge of murder.
The suspects were arrested following the incident that happened on 01 February 2017. On that fateful morning police were summoned to an open space in Bloemside after a passerby discovered three bodies near a popular shopping mall in the area.
Three African males were found lying next to each other, and they were all not wearing shoes. The men, estimated to be between ages 16 and 21, each had multiple stab wounds to the upper body.A case of murder was registered at Heidedal police station.
The case is postponed to 20 February 2014 for bail application and the suspects remain in custody.
